Last week, Anderson-VanHorne had the opportunity to participate in the Victor Senior High School Work-Based Learning Program by hosting a student intern.
It was a rewarding experience to provide hands-on exposure to the insurance industry and help bridge the gap between classroom and the workplace. Throughout the internship, we saw firsthand the enthusiasm, professionalism, and potential that today’s students bring to the workforce.
We’re grateful to Victor Central Schools and the Work-Based Learning Program for creating opportunities that connect local businesses with the next generation of professionals. Programs like this strengthen our community, support career development, and help students gain valuable real-world experience.
Thank you to everyone involved in making the program a success. We were honored to participate and look forward to supporting future students in the years ahead.

Over the past few weeks, we had the opportunity to host a local high school junior, Kofi, giving him a behind-the-scenes look at the insurance industry.
Work-based learning programs like this help students step outside the classroom and experience real-world careers – building confidence, skills, and direction for their future.
