Penny started in the insurance business in 1997 with AON Corporation and traveled throughout NY State consulting, selling, and servicing both new and existing customers. She moved to North Carolina in the year 2000 where she left the field to raise 2 children up to school age. Penny re-entered the insurance field in 2007 joining State Farm Insurance specializing in Property, Casualty and Life Insurance.
